After the state government has lifted the ban on the film following a peaceable solution between the protesting minority groups and the film maker, who agreed to edit sound in seven scenes that are alleged to be anti-Muslim.

Kamal Haasan is also likely to withdraw his petition against the state government, which imposed a ban on his film ‘Vishwaroopam’, from the Madras High Court today. Before getting the film released in Tamil Nadu, process of cutting the seven scenes is being done in the US. Some other scenes he has agreed to mute.
After the lengthy meeting between the actor and the Muslim groups on Saturday, came an end to the 11 day ban on the film Vishwaroopam’ which will now see the light of the day in Tamil Nadu.
District collectors have also withdrawn the 144 prohibitory orders on the film, under which the release was to be banned.


Cut seven scenes;

1.       The Qur'an sentences among the film scenes should be removed.
2.       Cutting American’s heads and the related sentences behind the scenes should be removed.
3.       Kamal’s Muslim prayer for stop the bomb blast in US and the prayer scenes should be removed.
4.       The sentence which is denoted that Mullah Omar was hidden in Kovai and Madurai should be removed.
5.       The Nasar sentence “Responsibility of Muslim is separate the persons which are not Muslims”should be removed.
